Root Planing/Scaling

A periodontal cleaning done to help treat gum disease. This deep cleaning is more thorough than a normal six month cleaning, and goes under the gum tissue to remove plaque and tarter build up that can cause bleeding and inflamed gums and can lead to bone loss.
